What are Creatine Caps?

Creatine is an organic molecule that is found naturally in our bodies, especially in the muscle cells, but also in the neurons (nerve cells) and other tissues. Within the cells, creatine serves as an additional energy storage. If this storage is full, we have more energy, e.g. during physical training, which increases our performance. The increased training performance can have a positive effect on muscle growth², when combined with a protein-rich diet.

Why should I use Creatine Caps?

When it comes to performance enhancement, hardly any other dietary supplement has been as well researched as creatine. The human body can produce creatine on its own, but not in the quantities required to improve physical performance. The amounts of creatine consumed through the consumption of animal products are also not sufficient for this. Creatine has an excellent safety profile and is free of unwanted side effects when taken in the recommended dosage.

When is the best time to take Creatine Caps?

The aim of taking creatine is to fill up the creatine phosphate storage in the muscle cells. To keep the storage full, a regular intake is necessary. Previous recommendations of taking creatine in cycles (e.g. 6 weeks of supplementation, 6 weeks break) are outdated. We recommend a regular intake of 3 g creatine per day. This dose is scientifically proven to be effective and healthy. Since the aim of the supplementation is to increase the creatine storage, the time of intake is not really important. Many athletes like to mix their creatine into their post-workout shake. On non-training days, creatine can be taken with a meal or also in a protein shake or any other beverage. The non-flavored powder mixes easily with a drink of your choice!
